Lamanai Mayan Ruins

Lamanai (from Lama'anayin, "submerged crocodile" in Yucatec Maya) is a Mesoamerican archaeological site, and was once a considerably sized city of the Maya civilization, located in the north of Belize, in Orange Walk District. (Wikipedia).

We took a 25 mile river boat cruse to this remote archaeological site. This is the steepest pyramid in Belize, and a 110 foot almost vertical climb! The girl spelled OHIO at the top!
